Purchase of Agricultural implements, Bullocks and carts, Land Development, repairs to Farm machinery and meet the consumption needs of the farmers viz. Education, Marriage etc., other than purchase of land, construction of farm house, purchase of tractors & accessories.


Farmers having excellent repayment track record of their ACC / ATL a/cs for the past 2 years irrespective of their land holdings


Quantum of Loan

Five times the annual income or 60% of the value of land mortgaged as collateral security whichever is less with a maximum of Rs.10 lacs.

Loan for consumption purpose should not exceed 40% of the total limit


20% and 30% (Consumption purpose)


As applicable to Agricultural Term Loans.


Each loan has its own repayment schedule with a maximum of 6-7 years


Other terms
This facility is in addition to KCC limit and treated as ATL a/cs (maximum of 5 a/cs), consumption purpose ATL is treated as Clean Term Loan

“Green House/Polyhouse

1) Purpose: To increase the income of the farmer by growing crops under controlled conditions. Crops like capsicum, rose, gerbera, broccoli, orchid, strawberry, cucumber, ridge gourd, bottle gourd, anthurium etc. Farmers are financed for construction of the Green House/Polyhouse along with the crops.

2) Eligibility: Individual/Firms/ Companies/ Institutions having experience in modern agricultural technologies engaged in this activity and having minimum of ½ acre owned or leased land.

3) Quantum of loan: Agriculture Term Loan –minimum of Rs.3.00 lacs and maximum of Rs.200 lacs.

4) Margin: 20% of the Project Cost

5) Rate of Interest: For Individuals: 1% above Base Rate i.e. 11%

: For other than individuals- Up to < Rs. 25 lacs- 11%

: For loans above Rs.25 lacs as per rating.

6) Subsidy: Farmers are eligible for 50% subsidy under Mission of Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) of the Project Cost. (Back ended Subsidy)

7) Repayment: Principal and interest will be repayable in half yearly instalments

In 7 years including a moratorium of 1 year.

To meet the timely Cash Credit and Consumption credit requirements of the farmers



No separate margin to be insisted.

Quantum of loan

Entire crop production requirements for full year is fixed based on operational land holding, cropping pattern and applicable scale of finance plus 10% towards consumption plus 20%( for the first year only ) towards maintenance as Ancillary to crop production viz. maintenance of Agri-machinery implements, electricity charges etc.,


Drawing power
Yearly drawing may be fixed based on seasonality in credit requirements, projected cash flow / repayment , peak level requirement with 10 % enhancement in limits every year for a period of 5 years.


KCC is like revolving cash credit limit valid for 5 years subject to annual review. Repayment to coincide with harvesting / marketing. Any number of withdrawals and repayment within the limit allowed and no withdrawal should remain outstanding beyond 12 months.


Credit card
KCC cum Smart card cum debit cards effective for 5 years facilitating year wise withdrawals & operations in the KCC accounts up to respective limits will be issued to the farmer borrowers.

Gramin Bhandaran Yojana (GBY)

Erection of rural godowns for storing farm produce to prevent distress sale by the farmers immediately after harvest. The unit should be utilised for the benefit of farmers only as per the scheme objectives and to be located outside the limits of Municipal Corporation area.


Individual farmers / group of companies / growers partnership proprietary firms, NGOs, SHGs, Companies, Co-operatives, Agro-processing co-op societies, Marketing Boards and Agro processing corporations


Unit size/ cost

Minimum size of godown 100 MT cost Rs.2 lacs

Maximum size of godown 10,000 MT cost Rs.150 lacs



Subsidy is back ended and will be released in two instalments by NABARD.

25% of capital cost of the project subject to a maximum amount of Rs.46.87 lacs for certain category of borrowers.

33% of capital cost of the project subject to a maximum amount of Rs.62.50 lacs for certain category of borrowers

Kisan Chakra Scheme

Purchase of vehicles viz. two wheelers, four wheelers carriage van, maxicabs, jeep, car, lorry, truck, etc. for supervising agricultural operations / management of the farm / estate and for transportation of agricultural produce, inputs, labour etc.



Agriculturists cultivating his own land or engaged in allied activities such as dairy, poultry, sericulture, fish farming etc.

Persons engaged in production / distribution of agricultural and allied commodities


Quantum of loan
An upper monitoring ceiling of Rs.5 lacs is fixed for the scheme


15-25% (minimum of 25% for MCVs/ACVs)
